Certification Exam
Learning objectives
By the end of this training course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand the operations of a Management System for Educational Organizations (EOMS) based on ISO 21001
- Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 21001, ISO 9001 and other standards and regulatory frameworks
- Understand an auditor’s role in planning, leading and following-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011
- Learn how to interpret the requirements of ISO 21001 in the context of an EOMS audit
Examination
The PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It covers the following competency domains:
- Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a Management System for Educational Organizations (EOMS)
- Domain 2: Management System for Educational Organizations (EOMS)
- Domain 3: Fundamental audit concepts and principles
- Domain 4: Preparation of an ISO 55001 audit
- Domain 5: Conducting an ISO 55001 audit
- Domain 6: Closing an ISO 55001 audit
- Domain 7: Managing an ISO 21001 audit programme
Duration: 3 hours
Location: Online through the PECB app OR in person in one of the PECB exam centers

Language: The exam is available in multiple other languages and does not need to be taken in the same language as the training material. Additional time can be requested when your native language is not available in your mother tongue (to be requested by candidates on the exam day)
Retake: In case you fail the exam, you can retake it within 12 months following the initial attempt for free

Certification
After successfully passing the exam, you can apply for the respective credential. You will receive the certificate once you comply with all the requirements of this certification.
